Salida desde la estación inferior del funicular Patscherkofel hasta el desvío de Heiligwasser, ascenso moderado por pista forestal ancha dirección sur hasta Ochsenschlagboden (dirección Patscher Alm). Patscher Alm – dirección sur hasta Hochmahdalm, luego ascenso moderado hasta el refugio Patscherkofel Schutzhaus. Hasta la cumbre del Patscherkofel el camino ofrece unas vistas panorámicas espectaculares.
