From the tourist information centre, take either the route via Wiesberg/Drei-Seen-Hütte or the route past Hotel Astoria and through the Finster Valley up to the dam at the Finstertal reservoir. Continue on the AV146 all the way along the reservoir until you reach the path that leads up to Sulzkogel. Near the beginning of the path on the left-hand side, you will find the start of the route to the Finstertaler Scharte (AV146). When you reach the col, follow the trail that bears left (well-marked with red dots) to Kraspesspitze peak.
