TOURS, TRAILS & CHEESE DUMPLINGS

That is mountain biking in Innsbruck. First you pedal hard uphill. Then you enjoy a summer bike stop at one of the many mountain huts and alpine restaurants that are often located right on the route or may even be your destination. Refuelling à la Innsbruck: Kaspressknödel cheese dumplings. Are your calves burning? If so, simply relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains a little longer before getting back on the saddle.

A connecting route with wonderful views of Innsbruck.

This route follows forestry roads and connects two mountain huts where you can enjoy a well-deserved break after the ascent with wonderful views over Innsbruck. Along the way, the route passes the Höttinger Bild chapel and the modern Umbrüggler Alm mountain hut. The Umbrüggler Alm, the Rauschbrunnen alpine guesthouse and the Höttinger Alm mountain hut are all places where you can stop for a break and are much loved for their Tyrolean specialities by locals and guests alike.

Athletic bikers can extend the tour with a ride up to Seegrube.
