Dialog concert, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik
Leila Schayegh, violinist, and Jörg Halubek, specialist in historical keyboard playing, have already put together many a virtuoso dialogue project. Now, at the 4th Ambras Castle Concert, they are presenting an exclusive programme that resembles a development in dialogue: that of the violin sonata and the violin-accompanied piano sonata in the 18th century. Based on works by Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, Johann Schobert, Luigi Boccherini and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the two will trace an extremely exciting development, in which a permanent competition for the leading position ultimately leads to a colourful cooperation at eye level.
