Away from Hollywood and the mainstream, the International Film Festival in Innsbruck provides a fitting stage for films from all over the world. The event takes place in the beginning of november and presents films that open up new perspectives – movies that touch and inspire you or simply provide witty entertainment. Variety is paramount – over 40 films from approx. 20 countries are shown, covering diverse topics that make the event an absolute highlight of Innsbruck's cultural scene. The concept is unique and the topics are contemporary and significant.
