From the tourist information centre, follow the road towards Ötz until you come to the Jagdschloss Kühtai. From there, take the Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Weg trail, which leads off to the right behind the building. The trail takes you through tranquil forests and the alpine meadows above Gasthof Mareil to the hamlet of Marlstein, which is home to an alpine guesthouse and farm.
