Nordkette Freeride Area

Freeriding with city views

Freeriding in the city! The Nordkette is part of Innsbruck despite the fact that the Hafelekar is located almost 2,300 metres above sea level at the entrance to the largest nature park in Austria, the Karwendel Nature Park. On one side lie rugged mountain peaks, on the other magnificent powder. For experts, the Karrinne is a real highlight: with a gradient of 70 percent, it is one of the steepest runs in Europe.

Ride down towards the valley with stunning views of Innsbruck. Along the way, why not take a stop at the Seegrube? It is located 1,900 metres above sea level and features a fabulous sun terrace. There is also a restaurant, a party igloo and the Nordkette Skyline Park, which is the world's only "in-city" snow park and home to countless kickers, rails and obstacles.
