Cómo llegar
Esta excursión lleva a la montaña de Rangger Köpfl. Punto de salida en el aparcamiento de los funiculares Bergbahnen Oberperfuss. Para los pasajeros de la telecabina, el aparcamiento es gratuito.
Se recomienda subir con la telecabina de 8 plazas hasta Stiglreith. Posibilidad de subir el mismo tramo a pie: subida suave de aproximadamente 1,5 horas por el camino Haggenweg (cuidado con la pista de trineo) a través del bosque hasta el aparcamiento Stiglreith. Mucha atención con los trineos que bajan por el mismo camino. El aparcamiento es de pago, además está prohibida la circulación de vehículos por la carretera entre el 1 de noviembre y el 30 de abril.
En el lado izquierdo del aparcamiento de Stiglreith se encuentra la capilla Maria Heimsuchung (Visitación de María), obra de la familia Kofler que cumplió así una promesa. La capilla fue consagrada en el año 1992. Cada año, el domingo posterior a la festividad de la Visitación de María (2 de julio) se celebra aquí una misa y una pequeña fiesta. En el pasado se situaba aquí una cruz de protección contra las inclemencias del tiempo.
Continuar por el camino forestal en ligero ascenso hasta Sulzstich y tomar el desvío a la izquierda dirección a Gfas. Gfas es el vecindario situado a más altitud del municipio de Oberperfuss, a 1.517 metros. Aquí se hallan dos granjas y una capilla Marienkapelle (capilla de María), originariamente hecha de madera. En el año 1941, Franz Leitner la sustituyó por una construcción de piedra. Después de unas obras de renovación, la capilla se consagró en 1987. Detrás de la capilla se erige la majestuosa cumbre de la montaña Rosskogel.
De Gfas seguir la carretera dirección Sulzstich hasta el idílico embalse (Speichersee) y posibilidad de reponer fuerzas y tomar el sol en la gran terraza del restaurante Sulzstich.
Regreso al punto de salida con la telecabina Gondelbahn II o regreso a Stighlreith por la carretera y regreso al valle con la telecabina Gondelbahn I.
