Route naar het startpunt
Een klassieke route met een fantastisch uitzicht over 5 dalen, die ook bijzonder geschikt is voor trailrunning-beginners. Over het bekende „Zirbenweg“ en “Jochleitensteig“ wordt daarbij de Patscherkofel omcirkeld.
Vanaf de start bij het middenstation van de Patscherkofel gaat het in westelijke richting over een breed bospad (grind) langs de Patscher Alm en verder omhoog naar de Hochmahdalm.
2 haarspeldbochten na de Hochmahdalm, de bosweg verlaten en rechtsaf de Jochleitensteig op. Het smalle pad voert eerst over bosgrond en vervolgens over rotsen en grind vlak langs de boomgrens. Aan de zuidkant van de Patscherkofel leidt het pad naar de Alpenherberg Boscheben. Vanaf daar volgt u de bekende Zirbenweg over grind en rots terug naar het bergstation van de Patscherkofel-kabelbaan.
Als u de hoogtemeters aan het begin van de lus wilt overslaan, neemt u de Patscherkofelbahn naar het bergstation en loopt u vanaf daar over het vlakke bospad naar het begin van de Jochleitensteig, waarbij u de bordjes "Panorama-Shortcut" volgt.
