Route naar het startpunt
Voor de Schwarzmoosronde steekt u in oostelijke richting eerst de parkeerplaats van de Hochalterbaan over, en volgt dan op de bosweg de haarspeldbochten omhoog. Als u de Nederbach en de Kaiser-Max-Hütte achter u hebt gelaten, buigt u rechtsaf en volgt een pad onder de Schwarzmooslift. Tot aan het hoogste punt en het omkeerpunt van het traject, het bergstation van de Kaiserbaan op 2.443 m., zijn het slechts nog enkele hoogtemeters. Bij een prachtig uitzicht over de Schwarzmoosmeren en het Sellrain gaat u de weg weer naar beneden naar de VVV.
