All aboard!

Every hiking area in the Innsbruck region has lifts. Some are even free with the Welcome Card or the Innsbruck Card. For people with limited mobility, you can find detailed information about the lifts and cable cars here.

  • Nordkettenbahn - Seegrube
    Icon Mountain railroad
The Nordkettenbahnen lifts and cable cars take visitors from Innsbruck city centre to over 2,000 metres – in just around half an hour.
  • Lifts in Axamer Lizum
    Icon Mountain railroad
Axamer Lizum is a popular destination. One of the many reasons for this: the state-of-the-art Hoadlbahn gondola, which takes you up to an altitude of 2,340 metres above sea level.
  • Lifts in Kühtai
    Icon Mountain railroad
Kühtai boasts breathtaking high alpine landscapes with many beautiful mountain lakes. You can get high up into the mountains on the DreiSeenBahn chairlift.
  • Patscherkofelbahn Bergstation
    Icon Mountain railroad
From high up on Patscherkofel, you can see more than 400 peaks. You can get up there on the gondola, which also runs some evenings.
  • Wandern im Gebiet Mutterer Alm
    Icon Mountain railroad
Muttereralm is known as an “adventure mountain” for good reason. After riding up on the gondola, there are many tours to choose from.
  • Bergbahnen Oberperfuss gondolas
    Icon Mountain railroad
A panoramic restaurant, a reservoir, a playground and more: there is a lot to discover at the top of the gondolas in Oberperfuss.
  • Blick vom Zirbenweg
    Icon Mountain railroad
The Glungezer is the start and end point of the popular Zirbenweg trail. The quickest way to reach it is with the Glungezerbahn.

All good so far?
